GhostHere’s the banshee thing we put in our yard.

It looks like something designed by Jay Ward.

Our neighbor, Renee Duncan, gave us the mop for the hair. Along with three pieces of really good pumpkin pie and a handful of Earl Grey tea-bags. Until you’ve had Renee’s hot fried wontons you haven’t lived. The woman could open a restaurant.

That does it. When we fire up the woodstove, I’m taking what I’ve got left of the Genuine Hand-Picked Ozette Cranberries and making up some home-canned lemon-cranberry spice sauce for that lady.
