Our neighbor, Renee Duncan, gave us the mop for the hair. Along with three pieces of really good pumpkin pie and a handful of Earl Grey tea-bags. Until you’ve had Renee’s hot fried wontons you haven’t lived. The woman could open a restaurant.
That does it. When we fire up the woodstove, I’m taking what I’ve got left of the Genuine Hand-Picked Ozette Cranberries and making up some home-canned lemon-cranberry spice sauce for that lady.
